We produce empowering performance art targeting issues that limit the potential of women. The shows celebrate women who have challenged the status quo, broken the culture of silence and moved beyond barriers to achieve solutions.
Audiences including men, influencers and leaders are challenged to ‘step up’, ‘stand for’ and engage in building a more equitable world. Our productions have reached over 100,000 live audiences from a cross-section of society by performing in universities, churches, theaters, market places, bus stops and festivals. skill building
workshops
Since 2014, we have provided free, rigorous workshops which focus on building the capacity, careers, and leadership skills of young women in the performing arts. ​
​
Workshops last 4-6 weeks and participants explore the limitations of patriarchal systems. These women acquire advanced skills in acting, movement, speech, and gender advocacy, preparing them to be formidable gender advocates who give speeches, share in open-dialogue sessions and perform on tour locally and internationally.

iOpenEye facilitates collaborative and supportive groups of like-minded women who guide, mentor, support and learn from each other. Some of these ‘support pods’ have been active since 2014.
Celebrity performers and experienced actors are often paired with younger actors to provide mentorship.
